The work was a collaboration between Shintaro Otsuka (then at Dr. Michisuke Yuzaki's lab at Keio, now at Northwestern Univ) and Ishida, who developed a new task to measure working memory. The device is low-cost and is a great way to conduct high-throughput cognitive measurement in mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders.
